Marilyn manson on tour with the gods slayer

Slayer and Marilyn Manson are hitting the road in a formidable pairing in North America beginning July 25 on the East Coast. The itinerary is expected to span 25 cities, with a confirmed schedule coming shortly.

slayer-manson.jpgThe acts will first give the pairing a whirl at the U.K.’s Download Festival on June 9 in Donington, the Greenfield Festival on June 15 in Interlaken, Switzerland, and the Metaltown Festival on June 30 in Stockholm.

For Manson, the trek comes in support of his forthcoming album, Eat Me, Drink Me, due in June via Interscope. According to his Web site, he hopes to release it in conjunction with his film project “Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll,” based on the strange life of the creator of Alice in Wonderland.

Slayer’s last album, Christ Illusion, was released in August, and peaked at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. The veteran group will be on the road in Australia and Europe prior to its stint with Manson.

    Alright! I saw SLAYER in Miami in 2004, man they totally rocked and they also sounded totally 80′s – it was night and day – the sound difference between the classic SLAYER and the new metal bands like KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and MASTODON. This is going to be ONE HELL OF A TOUR! MARILYN MANSON shows get the scariest but the SEXIEST CHICKS! think SUICIDE GIRLS baby!
